IRC Section 501(c)(3) Public Charity Status

HUA Sports, Inc. is exempt from federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501(c)(3), and further classified as a public charity. Copies of the Application for Recognition of Exemption (Form 1023-EZ) and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) determination letter are provided as follows.

Virginia Solicitation of Contribution Law Compliance

HUA Sports, Inc. is in compliance with the registration requirements of Section 57-49 of the Virginia Solicitation of Contributions Law. The notice letter from the Office of Charitable and Regulatory Programs of the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is provided as follow.

Virginia Retail Sales and Use Tax Exemption

HUA Sports, Inc. qualifies under Code of Virginia § 58.1-609.11 to purchase tangible personal property without paying the Virginia sales and use tax. The exemption also applies to purchase of meals, prepared food and catering by HUA Sports for its use or consumption on or after April 22, 2016. The exemption is not applicable to the purchase of taxable services, such as hotel and motel accommodations. The Certificate of Exemption is provided as follows.
